What's Up

It usually comes down to simple questions.

Do you believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ?

That's always a good start. But once you start asking people that question, that's when the whole game begins to unveil right in front of your eyes.

Some people will answer that question with a 'yes', but yet they haven't accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour of their lives.

Those, "I believe, but I'm still go do what I want to do when I want to do it, even if it does go against God's Word. Ain't nobody perfect but Jesus."

That's always funny to me, cuz it sounds like something that has come out of my mouth MANY times.

And once you start asking people that question, some folks are going to fire back at you with all the dirt, harm and danger that you used to commit as well as some of them that you're still doing.

I am convinced that God uses haters for His purpose also.

What haters meant for bad, God meant for good.

Because what this does, is it gets you your 'sea legs'. Once you're acclimated to truth being pointed in your direction, that probing light under the mirror looking at you and your bare naked soul..you'll know if you're ready to ride or not.

Because if Jesus, the prophets and the apostles haven't taught us anything else, there is a Cost to Discipleship. We know that we have to be dead game for the Lord.

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." - Revelations 12:11 KJV

That last part that says, 'and they loved not their lives unto the death.'? That's what you call DEAD GAME.

There is no middle ground. There is no room for lukewarm believers. God spits lukewarm believers out. Either you ride with the promised Messiah or you die.

Of course, there are many religions that are intent on refuting that statement, but that's all just part of the game. If you devote yourself to the rulebook, the eternal Word of God that is found in the 66 canonical books of the Bible, then you will be strengthened by God's command. By laws, prophesies and miracles that could only come from God and God alone.

Cuz no matter whatever else you're 'on', if you're not riding with Jesus, then you're lacking, cuz you just ain't go ever find a greater love.

That's what's up.
